My warmest thank you to Dr. Miller and the team at Downtown Sleep Dentistry!!! I don’t often write reviews. However, I feel compelled to in this circumstance. I have a 3 year old special needs child who was in need of significant dental restoration. Due to extended wait times and immediate need I was referred to Downtown Sleep Dentistry by a trusted dentist. Any apprehension I had was quickly overcome by the level of competency my questions were answered buy the entire team at Downtown Sleep Dentistry. Furthermore, I was overjoyed with the level of care and compassion afforded my Son by Dr. Miller and his staff. Absolutely wonderful! I have a fear of dentists and dental work that is probably a phobia. In the past, dentists have made me feel embarrassed because of these fears. I am so glad I found Downtown Sleep Dentistry and Oral Surgery. The staff here are so kind, so patient and so understanding. I never felt embarrassed or ashamed. They explained every step, every procedure. I never felt rushed. I am also poor and depend on the Canadian Dental Care Plan to help with expenses and the team at Downtown Sleep Dentistry took care of everything. My dentist there was amazing. Kind, patient, non-judgmental and very pleasant. On the day of the sedation/dental work, I was nervous. I admit, I had nightmares the night before. But once again, everyone there was kind, patient and caring. They explained the heart monitoring, the blood pressure monitoring, the air flow and then I simply fell asleep. .... and then I woke up. Everything was done! Just like that. No pain, no anguish. All my cavities filled. My teeth are cleaner than they have ever been! it was so easy. If you are afraid of the dentist, or afraid of pain, I really recommend going to Downtown Sleep Dentistry and Oral Surgery. I am very glad I found them and I would like to thank the whole team for taking such good care of me.

This place ONLY cares about money, not patients or children in pain. First visit: charged me $99 just to LOOK at referral images and immediately prescribed antibiotics for no clear reason. They sent my insurance the wrong name and address. They refused to book my daughter's procedure until insurance paid or I paid out of pocket. I know and they know my insurance is one of the best out there, but they still won't proceed without assuring their money is secured. The poor kid can wait in pain, they are sure. Day of procedure: my daughter woke up with a painfully dry throat (she breathes through her mouth while sleeping). I let her take a tiny sip of water — less than 2ml — just to wet her mouth (my mistake, I should have let her suffer). They fined me $250, cancelled the procedure, and the receptionist hinted I should be grateful it wasn't $500. Thanks for the generous $250 discount. You shouldn't have. We took two days off work. Paid $350 for NOTHING. My daughter is still in pain.
