I desperately needed a cleaning and scheduled an appointment for that service primarily. I had my annual exam and x-rays, but I communicated in my initial calls and voicemails that I needed a cleaning. I have very limited time off. I have one full time job, two part time jobs, and go to school full time. It was a big deal for me to take a day off and rent a car to make it all of my doctor appointments. Once my annual visit was done, I was told that a cleaning would not be done because the dental hygienist was leaving at noon. My appointment was at 10:30 am. I don't know when I will be able to get a day off now to accomplish this. I am losing my primary job due to the government shut down and lay offs, but I'm not any less busy. The Dr was nice and the X-ray tech Meghan was kind. I am just disappointed that I didn't get seen for what I needed to be treated for.
