1 Star – Incredibly disappointing turn for a once-wonderful practice After 12 loyal years as patients, our family has officially left this practice. Under Dr. Mohip and her previous staff, the care here was absolutely amazing. Sadly, that is no longer the case. The practice was recently sold to a periodontist, and the shift in priorities became obvious almost immediately. Within three months of the takeover, we were suddenly told that we both needed extensive periodontal work costing almost a $1,000 each. Suspicious of this sudden diagnosis, we sought a second opinion from a new dentist who confirmed that this expensive treatment wasn't necessary at all. To make matters worse, the communication regarding the transition has been terrible. I booked an appointment specifically to get a crown done by Dr. Mohip, only to show up and discover that she was gone, and our longtime hygienist was missing too. Even before our hygienist left, she was telling us how awesome the periodentist was and handing us a brochure on all he does. The office never bothered to send a letter or notify patients about these major staffing changes.While the new staff members are friendly enough, this is incredibly poor business practice. It feels like the new ownership is focused on unnecessary upcharges rather than honest patient care. After over a decade of trust, we are highly disappointed and will not be returning.
